Lovely Buffet Experience

I had the pleasure of dining at the Bazar buffet during my stay. The variety of food was really good, featuring fresh seafood, smoked meats, and delicious desserts. The chef even prepared a steak exactly to my liking! The overall experience for just $55 per head was very nice value for money. I highly recommend this dining option.

Relaxing Pool Area

The pool area at Oaks Resort was truly amazing! It featured a lovely swim-up bar and surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed lounging by the pool and the vibrant scenery made for a perfect getaway.

Comfortable and Spacious Room

I had a wonderful time at QT Port Douglas, enjoying the friendly atmosphere and beautiful setting. Our villa was spacious and had lovely views, and the pool area was fantastic. However, our experience was slightly marred by some maintenance issues and inconsistencies in service during our stay. The location made it easy to explore the Daintree, but I have some reservations about the dining experience.

My stay at the resort was a mix of ups and downs. While the staff, particularly Jesse and Nuria, went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, the resort itself is in definite need of renovations. The room we initially had some trouble with turned out to be okay, but I did notice some discomfort with the beds. The location is wonderful, with easy access to the beach and daily entertainment, but there are some accessibility issues that need to be addressed. Overall, a bit of a letdown considering the potential.
